Overview
Provides support with the daily activities of a medical office by performing the following duties and other duties as assigned. May be required to work overtime during peak periods. Responsibilities MA Duties: The Dermatology Medical Assistant provides clinical and administrative support to dermatologists and nurses in both medical and cosmetic dermatology settings. This role involves assisting with dermatologic procedures, preparing patients and treatment rooms, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience. Patient Care & Coordination:
The Dermatology LPN supports the dermatologist in providing high-quality medical and cosmetic dermatologic care. This position involves assisting with clinical procedures such as biopsies, excisions, and injections, as well as performing or assisting with cosmetic and laser treatments. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to maintain a calm, professional demeanor in a fast-paced clinical environment. LPN Duties: Clinical Duties:

Education and Experience MA: Graduate of a medical assistant program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), or graduate of a medical assistant program in a post secondary school or college that has institutional accreditation by a regional accrediting commission or by a national accrediting organization approved by the U.S. Department of Education, or a graduate of an educational program accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA), such as the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Experience in a program with a clinical rotation preferred. AAMA or NHA certification preferred. LPN: LPN Education and Experience Graduate of an accredited LPN Program OR Wisconsin: Have completed the portion of the RN Program needed to obtain a certificate of completion in practical nursing. Illinois: Have completed the designated curriculum of a Ladder Option Approved Designated RN Program. Experience in clinical setting preferred.
