This individual will serve as a critical enabler of operational efficiency within the Deputy Assistant Group (DAG) at Space Systems Command (SSC). This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to manage and coordinate taskers across SSC, ensuring timely and accurate communication and execution of assigned actions.



Salary Range

Full salary range for this position is $99,000- $115,000 per year, with the starting salary determined based on candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, as well as budget availability.



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

    Serve as the primary point of contact for task management workflow within DAG.
  • Coordinate, consolidate, analyze, distribute, and monitor action items, suspenses, and responses across SSC.
  • Utilize the Task Management Tool (TMT) or other current task management software to track and manage all taskers.
  • Maintain daily tracking of task assignments, distribution, status updates, and completion dates.
  • Ensure accurate and timely communication across SSC stakeholders regarding tasker status and deadlines.
  • Use Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) to support tracking, reporting, and documentation.
  • Provide status reports and updates to leadership on tasker progress and completion.
  • Identify and escalate delays or issues in tasker execution to appropriate leadership.
  • Support process improvement initiatives related to task management and workflow optimization.


Education, Requirements and Qualifications

  • An active TS/SCI security clearance is required
  • Proven experience in task management, workflow coordination, or administrative support in a government or military environment.
  • Proficiency in TMT or similar task management software.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred

  • Prior experience supporting Space Systems Command (SSC) or other DoD organizations
  • Familiarity with military tasking processes and protocols


Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Ability to lift in excess of 25 lbs, standing for long periods of time, traveling across base regularly, transporting equipment, etc.
