As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents and contribute to a secure environment within a residential community. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols throughout the location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter unwanted activity, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. As this is an armed and driving post, you will be required to carry a firearm and operate a vehicle while on duty, following all applicable protocols and guidelines. Exceptional customer service and strong communication skills are essential, as you will interact regularly with residents, guests, and staff, providing assistance and fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the residential community in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the residential property and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats through visible presence and attentive patrols.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary to address incidents within the residential location.
• Maintain awareness of access points and monitor for any suspicious activity or security-related breaches.
• Communicate with residents, guests, and property management to provide information and assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required for positions involving driving responsibilities.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
