Overview

As the Production Supervisor within our Specialty Vehicles (SV) division based in Charlotte, MI , you will enjoy managing and providing direction to team members with a focus on safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement for our SV product lines. This includes but is not limited to emergency response bodies and chassis, motorhome chassis, specialty vehicles, and Isuzu N-Gas.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a passion for delivering excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 11:30 PM (some flexibility required for occasional day shift meetings/trainings with advance notice).

Core Responsibilities

• Lead and coach production staff to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals
• Assign tasks and delegate responsibilities to production staff
• Plan and organize production schedules to ensure on-time delivery
• Monitor equipment and processes to proactively resolve issues
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure proper training is provided
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, production output, and quality metrics
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce waste
• Ensure that products meet quality standards by conducting regular quality inspections
• Communicate regularly with management on performance and staffing

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Three or more (3+) years of manufacturing experience with demonstrated leadership skills
  preferred)
• A successful track record of personnel management experience
• Intermediate computer skills

• Vehicle assembly line experience in a leadership role
• Associates degree, technical degree, or a bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration
