Human Resources Business Partner

The HR Business Partner and Project Manager supports the Human Resources Department in implementing initiatives that are strategically aligned to the department and the growth of the company with an emphasis on continuous improvement. This position will support program awareness, assess local specific needs and help enhance overall engagement for the human resources department through internal operations enhancements, functional and stakeholder partnership, and will provide key program insights, creative solutioning and process optimization.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as business partner, strategic solution provider, advisor and counselor for the functional leadership team
  • Through partnership with HR COE's and regional and site-HR partners, ensure the implementation of business and functional-level HR initiatives across the global organization are delivered effectively
  • Responsible for driving the evolution of the HR function by shaping and influencing our strategy, practices, and talent. This includes developing HR capabilities to ensure the function is a proactive, impactful partner to the business-aligned with organizational goals and equipped to deliver value through people, culture, and operational excellence.
  • Lead with the day-to-day and execution of key HR projects and initiatives; create and deliver presentation materials, produce reports, analyze program effectiveness and suggest actionable opportunities
  • Mediate and resolve employee relations issues; conduct thorough and objective investigations as needed.
  • Manage employee relations and ensure that employment actions comply with local laws, requirements, and corporate guidelines
  • Assist both Hourly and Salaried employees with general HR related questions and concerns
  • Performs exit interviews and summarizes information for final paycheck, collects any Momentive Technologies belongings
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum ten years of progressive HR experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Labor Relations
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Independently driven with ability to manage tasks, workflows and projects
  • Ability to comfortably communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills (planning and prioritizing) and follow-through
  • Critical thinker with interest in creative solutions
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, manage multiple priorities effectively, and coordinate across time zones while fostering a culture of inclusion and respect.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP certification preferred
  • 2 - 3 years' experience in HR in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in materials, semiconductor or chemical industry desired

Key Relationships:

  • Functional Leaders, Business Unit Leaders, Human Resources, Operations Managers, Site Quality Leaders, Product Managers, Technology, Finance, IT, Sales and Procurement

Travel Requirements:

  • 5% - Occasional travel between plant locations

Working Conditions:

An element of the work may be performed in an office environment located in a manufacturing plant. On occasion, the Human Resources Business Partner will need to interact with Managers on the plant floor. Proper personal protective equipment must be worn during those times; safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel toed shoes.

Our Human Resources Business Partner will earn a variable compensation including base salary and bonus. Base salary range takes into consideration experience, education, and training. Not to mention all the amazing benefits available for employee selection as well.
