Job Overview: This role involves supporting patients and healthcare providers by phone, updating records, and ensuring smooth communication between teams. You'll be part of a collaborative team focused on delivering excellent customer service in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities: * Make 8-10 outbound calls per hour to patients or doctors about medication orders and general questions. * Update or collect insurance and pharmacy information, and notify the right teams to make changes. * Create reminders and document patient interactions, including follow-ups, complaints, and actions taken. * Handle tasks specific to clients or pharmaceutical partners. * Work with disease-focused teams to provide top-tier service. * Connect patients with pharmacists for clinical questions. * Manage special tasks like drug shipment updates and reporting adverse drug events. * Escalate calls to the appropriate teams when needed (e.g., clinicians, insurance, or specialists). * Support special projects, bilingual services, and cross-training in other departments. Work Location: Remote with location restrictions - you must live within 40 minutes of one of these areas: * Florida * Canton, MI * Frisco, TX * Near Pittsburgh, PA Required Skills & Experience: * Customer service experience in healthcare, pharmacy, PBM, or call center settings. * Comfortable wearing a headset all day. * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.). * Able to work with multiple computer systems. * High school diploma. * Must have high-speed internet (100 Mbps+) and be able to connect via ethernet cable (provided). Preferred Skills: * Experience in healthcare or pharmacy. * Familiarity with order entry or data entry. * Experience making outbound calls.
