Our large financial services client is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Product Owner with experience in SIEM tools such as Splunk, CrowdStrike or similar tools. This role will sit fully on site, 5 days a week at the client's Denver office.
TEKsystems has been working with this client for nearly 30 years and has had over 500 consultants convert FTE with them over the past 10 years. This is a great opportunity for someone to make an impact on a company and continue their career in the cybersecurity domain. This is a contract that will go for 18 months with chance to extend up to 24 months or convert FTE with the client. Additionally, there are 11 PTO holidays worked into this contract. *Top Skills' Details* * Previous cybersecurity domain experience * Experience leveraging AI technologies to enhance product capabilities * Experience working with cloud environments to support product development * Experience serving in a dual role as Product Owner and Scrum Master * SAFe certification (ex. SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager), with demonstrated experience applying SAFe principles in a cross-functional environment * Certification(s) related to Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner) is a plus. *Description* Qualifications: * Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms and/or cybersecurity detection technology experience * Ability to engage in technical discussions with engineering teams, understand system architecture, and translate complex technical concepts into actionable backlog items * Experience in preparation and participation in Program Increment (PI) Planning * In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and a strong track record of successful collaboration in Agile teams. * Proven track record as a Software Product Owner or in a similar product management role in a software development environment. * Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions, prioritize effectively, and drive continuous improvement. * Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality software products and exceptional user experiences. * Proficiency in using project management and collaboration tools, such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar. * Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
