About the Opportunity: This position performs Quality Engineering technical assignments using aerospace manufacturing quality engineering compliance practices and principles as directed by Nadcap or other similar organizations, productionizing new programs and capital plans. Designs, implements and develops solutions to manufacturing methods controls compliance, relating to materials, special processes. Lead compliance activities and audits related to site current and future special processes (heat treating, fluorescent penetrant inspection, blue etch inspection and chemical processing). Required Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications: The preferred candidate will have some experience in one or more of the following processes and be motivated to learn the rest: heat treating, chemical milling, descaling, FPI and blue etch anodize processes. This position requires solid problem-solving skills with a commitment to continuous improvement. Must be detail oriented and organized with good communication skills to interface with all members of the organization as well as customer representatives. Strong computer skills required. Familiarity with Nadcap program and internal auditing desired.
