PRN Patient Care Associate-PCA/PCT/NT: Gynecology

Location: Mercy Hospital St. Louis: Gynecology

Schedule: PRN | 3x 12-hour night shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM) per 6-week schedule

Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend shift every 6 weeks

Holiday Requirement: 1 major & 1 minor holiday per year

???? What You'll Do

As a Patient Care Associate (PCA), you'll work under the direction of an RN or LPN to support individualized patient care and wellness. You'll be a vital part of a collaborative team, performing both clinical procedures and non-clinical tasks that make a real difference.

What You'll Need

• Education: High school diploma, GED, CNA/CPTC, or enrollment in a healthcare career program
• Experience: None required - Mercy provides a 175-hour training program for new hires
• Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - required within 1 month of hire
• PCA competencies - completed within 3 months of hire
• Physical Requirements: Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs, prolonged standing/walking, and physical mobility to perform duties
• Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
