Business and Technical Consultant - Operations

We are hiring a Materials Consultant to lead and transform operations in materials management, production execution, and planning across global manufacturing environments. This role drives ERP transformation, continuous improvement, and strategic alignment with business goals.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field, or military equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience in IT, Operations, or Materials/Supply Management
• Experience working with plant materials, planning, and/or production teams
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP S4 preferred) and ERP transformation programs

Desired Skills and Experience

• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools
• Ability to liaise between technical and business teams for planning and execution
• Global cultural sensitivity and diplomacy

What You Will Be Doing:

• Provide technical direction and coaching to plant teams in materials management and production planning
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with IT to support manufacturing operations
• Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement and performance measurement
• Serve as a functional expert in planning and analysis, influencing teams beyond direct reporting lines
• Drive successful implementation of innovative technologies within budget and timeline
