OhioHealth is in need for a Sr. 3rd Party Applications Project Manager, you must have previous experience in application integration for new facilities and/or expansion in a healthcare/ hospital setting. Candidates will be expected to travel onsite for go-lives but otherwise 100% remote. Travel expenses will be reimbursed. 5+ years of Project Management experience At least 2 projects revolving around full life cycle implementations Excellent verbal and written communication and task-oriented Responsibilities Conduct stakeholder meetings, create project charters, define scope, and update project teams according to milestones and updated timelines Travel to multiple hospital sites to ensure timelines are being met, and the correct hardware/software is being integrated Supervise the implementation of 3rd party applications including Microsoft365, ServiceNow, PACS, Cactus, Solarty, Nuance, Perigen, GE Muse, and RightFax Cultivate trusting relationships with key stakeholders, and other technology leadership Test hardware and software to ensure applications were packaged correctly and are performing adequately Create work breakdown structures and other project deliverables to keep timelines on-track Assist in the coordination, scheduling and testing of the Technical Dress Rehearsal (TDR) This position will be responsible for managing multiple medium to large workstream on the implementation of software and hardware developed or supported by external vendors involving a variety of information technology platforms. This role will serve as a leader in Information Services (IS) and will lead the department in continually enhancing project management techniques and methods. As a lead, this position will also serve as a mentor to new or less experienced project managers. Leads multiple medium to large complex projects simultaneously while proactively identifying and managing stakeholders, validating customer, business and technical success factors, expectations and communicates effectively with project stakeholders. Leads projects in a manner consistent with the IS PMO methodology. Monitors compliance with project management standards. Promotes effective communication with internal and external customers. Effectively communicates with executives. Engages project sponsors regularly to improve project outcomes. Effectively facilitates and presents at project meetings. Effectively solves problems and facilitates decision making. Leadership Provides leadership in Information Services or respective department. Takes an active role in continually advancing and improving project management practices and actively leads initiatives to accomplish departmental goals. Serves in the role of a mentor to new or less experienced project managers. Coaches project managers to improve performance, as appropriate. Sets an example for project accountability and professional behavior.
