Job Description:

As a Security Professional - Healthcare Patrol Driver in Sturgis, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment within a healthcare location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the assigned areas, maintaining a strong presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and supporting the wellbeing of everyone on site. This position is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license as you navigate the premises to monitor and report any unusual activity. You will also interact with staff, visitors, and patients, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding our company's values of agility, reliability, and innovation. Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents within the healthcare environment.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and directing visitors as needed.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and healthcare staff to address security-related concerns or incidents.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
