Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Project Manager with ServiceNow experience to join our team and collaborate with our government clients. The successful applicant will lead the design, development, and implementation of the project, ensuring seamless integration with our collaborators.

Job Responsibilities:
As a Deputy Project Manager, you will:


  • Actively lead planning, executing, and monitoring project activities to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.

  • Act as second-in-command, stepping in for the Project Manager when needed to provide direction and oversight.

  • Coordinate daily project operations, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives.

  • Oversee project documentation, reporting, and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

  • Support stakeholder management by preparing status updates, progress reports, and presentations.

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing day-to-day concerns and escalating issues when necessary.

  • Assist in managing expectations, scope changes, and contractual deliverables.

  • Track project performance metrics, milestones, and deliverables to ensure contractual compliance.

  • Identify risks and issues, propose mitigation strategies, and monitor resolution.


As a ServiceNow Platform SME, you will support activities such as:


  • Map business and technical requirements, including integrations.

  • Review existing ServiceNow solution architecture and recommend changes for proposed application enhancements.

  • Lead a cross-functional project team, which may include operations and data analytics SMEs, as well as ServiceNow Business Analysts and Developers.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation.

  • Serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams to ensure clarity and alignment.



  • Support project activities surrounding business processes, demand planning, and gathering dashboard requirements for logistics and operations needs

  • Support project activities focused on automating mission communications and data transfers

  • Support project activities for optimizing reporting and visualization of key data metrics

  • Lead efforts to improve program data integrity and quality as requested by the client



Required Qualifications:


  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

  • Having and maintaining an active Government Security Clearance.

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience.

  • Must be able to work multiple tasks in a team-based environment.

  • 8+ years of experience leading and supporting ServiceNow based projects

  • 8+ years of experience leading implementations, custom development and/or O&M activities in the ServiceNow Platform. Strong understanding of core ServiceNow products and data model, with emphasis on development and enhancement of scoped applications.

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification

  • Flexibility to travel to project-site when required.


Desired Qualifications:


  • Strong communication and team-building skills.

  • Experience managing teams through the development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing and implementation.



  • ServiceNow Application Developer (CAD) certification or commensurate experience with application development in ServiceNow or similar platforms.

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $155k- $185k.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
