We are looking for our next great team member to join us on our Food and Beverage team to fill the position of Security / Loss Prevention.

The Security / Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of guests, associates, and hotel property. This role involves monitoring, preventing, and responding to incidents while upholding a professional and discreet presence consistent with a luxury hotel environment.

Here is what you are doing each day:


  • Monitor hotel premises, including entrances, exits, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure the safety and security of guests, associates, and property.



  • Conduct regular patrols and respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or alarms.



  • Identify and investigate potential theft, fraud, or loss, collaborating with management and law enforcement when necessary.



  • Maintain detailed and accurate incident reports and security logs.



  • Enforce hotel policies, procedures, and compliance standards, including access control and emergency protocols.



  • Assist in crowd control and safety management during events or peak periods.



  • Provide assistance and guidance to guests regarding safety, directions, or hotel policies.



  • Collaborate with hotel management, HR, and other departments to support loss prevention initiatives.



  • Maintain discretion, professionalism, and a calm demeanor in all situations.



  • Conduct safety inspections, monitor CCTV systems, and ensure all safety equipment is operational.




Does this sound like you?


  • Previous experience in security, loss prevention, or law enforcement



  • Knowledge of security protocols, emergency response procedures, and loss prevention techniques.



  • Strong observational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.



  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, discreet demeanor.



  • Ability to remain calm and act decisively under pressure.



  • Familiarity with security systems, CCTV, and access control technology.



  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
