About the Team & Role
As an Endpoint Engineer, you will be a key member of our global team, responsible for the engineering, deployment, and ongoing management of our endpoint infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in advancing our Digital Experience initiatives by using data and automation to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact our users. This role requires a professional who is eager to innovate and committed to ensuring that our solutions meet and exceed business requirements.

How you'll make an impact

  • Administering and maintaining our enterprise endpoint environment.

  • Developing and implementing scripts and automation to streamline IT processes and improve efficiency.

  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex endpoint issues, often in collaboration with a globally distributed team.

  • Participating in project planning and execution for new technology deployments and upgrades.

  • Contributing to the advancement of our Digital Experience by leveraging tools like Nexthink to monitor performance and user satisfaction.

Experience you'll bring

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree (preferred).

  • Or 1-3 years of related experience with a Master's degree.

Technical Skills:

  • Extensive experience with Windows Desktop Operating Systems in a multi-domain environment.

  • Advanced proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.

  • Strong experience with endpoint management tools such as Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), and image build tools.

  • Experience with Active Directory management and best practices.

  • A deep understanding of how to implement and enforce security policies on endpoints.

  • Familiarity with Group Policy Management

  • Proficiency in diagnosing minor network problems on endpoints

Professional Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex issues and identify root causes.

  • The ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a global team.

  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to document technical procedures and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • The ability to multitask, establish priorities, and adapt quickly to change in a complex environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM) tools, specifically Nexthink.

  • Experience with OS migration projects.

  • A working knowledge of cloud services like AWS.

  • Experience working in a globally distributed team.

  • A working knowledge of Mac/Apple management (JAMF)

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
