We are seeking an experienced team member to manage all aspects of production of a wide variety of innovative products. This position requires experience in managing and motivating small and medium teams of people in a structured ISO9001/AS9100 quality management ecosystem. Day to day duties include coordinating activities and productivity with management, organizing production operations, scheduling, build planning, and collecting and analyzing data to objectively measure success. The production manager will utilize quality management metrics, processes, and analysis of production and supply chain data to inform the quality management process, prepare for and manage independent AS9100 quality audits, and collaborate with management to ensure successful operations. Additionally, our production manager will be expected to aid engineering and management staff in designing, upgrading, and implementing an expanding enterprise resource management system through the use of software and other operating tools. Job Role(s): Required Experience: - Minimum of 2 years as a lead production manager operating in an ISO9001/AS9100 production environment. - Experience in the planning and operation of a successful production operation. - Day to day use of enterprise resource planning software, and an understanding of receiving, shipping, and quality control documentation (e.g., build instructions, inspection reports, quality processes, etc.). - Experience in AS9100 operations and quality control processes to include collection of data, preparing briefings to management, interacting with quality auditors, and supporting manufacturing readiness evaluations for our customers. - Experience managing small to medium teams of people in a schedule constrained operation. Required Education: Bachelors or master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or Military service in a TRANSCOM or similar environment is preferred. Significant experience in production planning, management and operations within a structured quality system environment may be considered in lieu of other requirements.
