Overview:
The IT Support Technician is responsible for providing technical assistance and support for computer systems, hardware, and software within the organization. This role involves troubleshooting issues, maintaining system functionality, and ensuring a positive end-user experience across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities: * Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals. * Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications. * Manage user accounts and permissions through Active Directory. * Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic networking issues, escalating as necessary. * Assist with asset management, including inventory tracking and equipment deployment. * Support cybersecurity initiatives, including MFA, endpoint protection, and SIEM monitoring. * Document technical procedures and create user-friendly guides for internal knowledge sharing. * Collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex issues and support project-based work. Qualifications: * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. * Minimum 2 years of IT support experience, preferably in a multi-site environment. * Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts. * Familiarity with cybersecurity tools such as SIEM, MFA, and endpoint protection platforms. * Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. * Security+ or equivalent certification is a plus. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
