Overview
The Department of Human Resources (DHR) is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented HRIS Specialist to join our team. This position provides advanced functional support for HCM, acting as a key resource for troubleshooting system issues and responding to escalated user inquiries. Responsibilities include performing data audits, maintaining data integrity, and creating and using standard reports to ensure accuracy, and supporting configuration changes. The HRIS Specialist collaborates with HR teams, technology teams, while also assisting with testing of software updates and new functionality. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Oracle-PeopleSoft or Workday HCM, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively to non-technical users. This position, HRIS Specialist - Limited Service (Job Requisition #53364), is open to all State employees and external applicants. This is a Limited Service position, which is non-tenured and authorized through 06/30/2027. Limited Service positions are established for specially funded projects or programs. Duties are performed primarily in a standard office setting. Some travel may be required for which private means of transportation must be available. Some work outside of normal office hours may be required. Strong differences of opinion may be encountered on a regular basis. Minimum Qualifications
Three (3) or more years of experience in human resources or an administrative role that includes experience working within an HRIS system. Preferred Qualifications
Certification, training, or education in accounting, computer science, business management, human resources, or related field. Experience with PeopleSoft. Total Compensation
