The Electrical Products Group was recently purchased from Avail Infrastructure Solutions by nVent Electric plc ("nVent") and consists of three business units, Enclosure Systems, Switchgear Systems and Bus Systems. As a part of nVent, theElectrical Products Group is a leading provider of infrastructure solutions, designed to help ensure safe and reliable electrical operations primarily in the infrastructure vertical, including power utilities and data centers.

Painter- 3rd Shift (7PM - 5:30AM)

Millington, MD

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Review work orders or receive instructions from the supervisor or lead regarding the painting tasks.

  • Smooth surfaces using sandpaper, brushes, or steel wool to ensure the area is ready for painting.

  • Remove old paint from surfaces using paint remover, scraper, wire brush, or blowtorch as necessary to prepare surfaces.

  • Allow for the specified curing and drying time before notifying the lead when the product is ready for final inspection.

  • Perform daily cleaning and maintenance on painting equipment to ensure they are in proper working order.

YOU HAVE:

  • Prior experience in painting or surface preparation is preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

  • Ability to maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet project goals.

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$20.00-$22.00 +7.5% shift differential
