Join Our Team as a Human Resources Generalist!

Are you ready to make a difference in a dynamic environment where your expertise in human resources will shine? We are seeking a passionate Human Resources Generalist to be the heartbeat of our organization, directly responsible for the day-to-day coordination of HR functions within our designated programs. As a vital Business Partner to our local leadership team, you will help shape a culture that prioritizes customer service, quality, integrity, and accountability!

Your Role:

  • Empower and Engage: Collaborate with leadership to cultivate a workplace where employees feel valued and motivated to deliver exceptional service in a safe and compassionate environment.
  • Champion Employee Relations: Address concerns, mediate conflicts, and foster a positive atmosphere that drives productivity and satisfaction.
  • Performance Management: Support the performance review process by tracking goals, providing constructive feedback, and guiding managers through performance challenges.
  • Development Advocate: Coordinate employee development plans, administer training initiatives, and identify learning opportunities that align with our business goals.
  • Investigative Collaborator: Work alongside the Executive Director and HR leadership on internal investigations, ensuring a fair and thorough process.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate department records and employee files, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements.
  • Complete reporting requirements with precision and timeliness.
  • Participate actively in leadership and departmental meetings, contributing your insights and expertise.
  • Safeguard the integrity of employee data across all systems, ensuring updates are made promptly and accurately.
  • Report workers' compensation and Family and Medical Leave (FMLA) information in a timely manner.
  • Stay informed about legal and regulatory changes affecting our programs, ensuring compliance with all wage and hour practices.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • At least three years of relevant human resources experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience in the health care industry and/or residential treatment field preferred.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state-specific employment and wage and hour law.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of Joint Commission and state regulatory requirements as it relates to Human Resources.
  • Experience with Ultimate Kronos Group, a plus.
