What to Expect
Tesla is seeking a Contract Operations Specialist to manage contract administration, generation, and backend operations for the sale of Semi vehicles and chargers. This role focuses on ensuring all contract terms and metadata for Semi commercial contracts are accurately captured and systematized. Collaboration with Tesla's Semi Business Development, Energy, and in-house Legal teams will be essential to populate customer details, facilitate internal approvals, share final contract versions with external customers, and oversee the signing and execution process. Additionally, accounting for external funding sources, such as government rebate programs, may be required. This position plays a key role in defining and optimizing the contracting process for speed and efficiency, demanding a high level of organization, experience in contract administration, and familiarity with CRM tools.
What You'll Do
- Support customer onboarding by creating customer profiles and tracking project statuses
- Leverage existing Tesla tools for generating, storing, and managing NDAs, sales agreements, and service agreements
- Facilitate the formal sign-off process for executing agreements once negotiated with customers
- Manage contract template change log, revision, and clause variance
- Ensure templates are always up-to-date, stored, and configured as ready to use by all user groups
- Partner with Legal to continuously improve the commercial sales contracting process
- Partner with IT to enhance the contract management platform, lead user testing, and manage user communications
What You'll Bring
- 4+ years of contract administration experience, preferably in a B2B environment
- Impeccable interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-starter capable of handling multiple projects with varying requests, schedules, and priorities with minimal direction
- Ability to work within a complex, fluid, fast-paced, and demanding environment
- High degree of organization and ability to clearly define and articulate process flows
- Proficient in organizational applications for analysis and presentation (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Project, Confluence, Jira)

Expected Compensation
$72,000 - $138,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
