Responsibilities

  • This position will assist in the rehabilitation of patients with cardiovascular disease by implementing exercise prescriptions as part of secondary prevention.
  • Evaluates individual responses to exercise and conditioning, and educates patients regarding secondary prevention.
  • Possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the information appropriately and necessary to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures.
  • Delivers exercise therapy and education to facilitate behavior modification and change.
  • Leads exercises for persons with cardiovascular diseases, as well as exercises for healthy populations.
  • Manages patient data to determine the outcome of program effectiveness.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • BLS.
  • ACLS.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience.
