What You Will Do:
The Pump Shop Manageris responsible for receiving, shipping, distribution and pump technician functions of the warehouse. This individual will report directly to the area manager and manages the daily operations of the warehouse including warehouse management and operational business metrics. Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures Identify needs and organize and coordinate efficient operation of location warehouse, shipping and transportation Assemble and disassemble down hole pumps Organize, motivate and direct work activities of Warehouse Personnel and Truck Drivers Identify and manage workflow and proper work assignments of subordinates Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols Liaising with customers, suppliers and transport companies Planning and monitoring the storage, delivery and dispatch of orders Overseeing stock control and processing orders Ensuring quality, delivery budget and environmental objectives are met Fulfilling objectives and directions from the operations Keeping stock control systems up to date Planning future capacity requirements Training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis Overseeing the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment Complete yearly reviews of employees and work with his/her manager during the merit process Approve employees time cards weekly and day off requests in Workday Interviewing/hiring of new employees Take care of any safety concerns/issues Disciplinary action if required (Verbal, Written, or Termination) Report any injuries (Fill out the Intelex form) Other duties as required
Pre-Employment Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid driver's license in state of residence 3 years of warehouse/pump shop experience Operational knowledge & experience with warehouse operations, DOT, HAZMAT, OSHA, Forklift certification and training, shipping and receiving, distribution, documentation, and compliance Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel Strong work ethic and team player High degree of professionalism Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills Ability to communicate with various levels of management Decision-making, problem-solving, and strong analytical skills Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills Basic math and analytical skills Solid technical skills to understand computerized measuring machines and metalworking processes Ability to read and interpret blue prints and manufacturing documents Must be self-motivated and disciplined to work autonomously with minimal supervision Good organizational skills with the ability to effectively handle multiple tasks Good written and oral communications skills Good interpersonal skills Immigration sponsorship not offered for this role
