Wieland is hiring a Draw Bench Operator. The Draw Bench Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating the draw bench to draw tubing to required size listed on specifications. Operates equipment safely per standard operating procedure and initiates improvement to safe operations as appropriate. This role is located in Duncansville, PA and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay: $19.38/hr. then $24.24/hr. after 60-90 day training period

Schedule: 3 PM to 11 PM after training period, which is 7 AM to 3 PM

Pay Schedule: Weekly

Draw Bench Operator Responsibilities:

Maintains safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures and policies, including use of Personal Protective Equipment as required.
• Maintains effective communication with other employees, including supervisor/management and during shift changes to effectively complete tasks
• Produces material within prescribed tolerances using appropriate measuring device with focus on the "next customer" in a timely manner.
• Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work environment
• Performs Draw Bench set-up after analyzing traveler ticket (production order sheet)
• Maintains accurate records as needed on traveler tickets and/or daily production sheets
• Welds plugs on rods
• Replaces "paddles" as necessary
• Demonstrates proficiency in the various tasks identified on the machine's training evaluation form.
• Able to work various overtime as business needs require.
• Cross-trains in other areas as needed

Draw Bench Operator Qualifications:

• Maintains thorough knowledge of equipment/machine specific SOP's.
• Demonstrates proficient knowledge utilizing measuring devices.
• Lifting
