Job Description:

The Southwest University (SWAU) Consultant supports the Team in Learning Programs to close critical gaps in operational effectiveness by ensuring continued momentum on key organizational initiatives. They'll drive program enhancements, lead the implementation of a new project management tool, and drive strategy across the department. The SWAU Consultant is an analytical problem-solver who is ready to drive the future of Southwest's learning programs.

Responsibilities
  • Support departmental consulting efforts by assessing Team structures, roles, and operational workflows to identify opportunities for alignment, clarity, and efficiency.
  • Contribute to strategic planning cycles, annual goal setting, and cross-functional coordination across SWA U Teams.
  • Assist in the facilitation of intake and prioritization processes to ensure initiatives are aligned to business objectives and capacity.
  • Develop clear documentation, visuals, and communication materials that support Team understanding and stakeholder alignment.
  • Partner with Leadership and subject matter experts to support continuous improvement efforts and drive scalable practices.
  • Monitor project milestones and support the implementation of standardization efforts across tools, processes, and templates.
  • Analyze, interpret, and visualize data to inform strategy and demonstrate impact.
  • Standardize documentation, templates, and tools to promote consistency and clarity
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and projects through structured planning and tactical execution.
  • Coordinate inputs for enterprise reporting, dashboards, and communications.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and navigating ambiguity with professionalism.
  • Proficient in project coordination, process documentation, and change support.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and cross-functional teams.
Education
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
  • Required: Advanced-level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge in:
    • Learning & Development, Business Operations, Project Coordination, or Consulting
    • Supporting cross-functional Teams and managing multiple projects
  • Preferred: Experience in facilitationand change support

  • Ability to perform work duties from limited space work station/desk/office area for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job

  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
Pay & Benefits Competitive market salary from$100,700 - $111,900 per year* depending on qualifications and experience, with opportunity for future pay increases based on performance and market movement.
