About The Position This position will monitor and evaluate the performance and condition of power system assets (>100kV) to comply with asset management strategy and ensure necessary investments are made to maintain long-term reliability. This position will primarily focus on transmission line assets,but may perform duties focused on substation assets. This position will shape Transmission Asset Management Strategy and develop Asset Management documentation. Key responsibilities include:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university required, preferably in Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering. Existing knowledge of the power industry, including construction, maintenance, and operation of generation systems, high voltage transmission lines and substations, metering, relays, and communication systems preferred. Five years' experience in the electric utility / power industry strongly preferred. Experience with IBM Maximo and Oracle Primavera Portfolio Management (OPPM) preferred. In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate: Proficiency with MS Office Suite; knowledge of Ameren-specific applications and practices; good problem solving, analytical skills, decision-making and communication skills; ability to adapt and be flexible; strong attention to detail; ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team. Willingness to keep abreast of current design standards and new technologies. Compensation Range: $69,300.00 - $210,000.00* This pay range encompasses multiple levels of the role. Career level and compensation depends upon applicant's credentials. At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
