The Enrichment Activities Coordinator is responsible for developing, leading, and documenting engaging activities and community outings that enhance the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities. This individual will be expected to have a deep understanding of program design, Home and Community Based Services (HBCS) rules, and be able to design, deliver, and execute experiential, community-integration events based on participant input and individual goals.

This role will provide a model of service delivery that embraces the spirit of HCBS and honors and promotes participant independence, inclusion, and personal growth through creative, person-centered programming. Outcomes from Enrichment Programming will offer a profound, measurable impact on each individual's independence, their families and community partners, and will ensure the overall health and safety and protection of the rights of individuals served.

Requirements



  • Must have superior organizational skills
  • Program development, behavioral support and leadership skills required.
  • Must be self-motivated, flexible, enjoy challenges and willing to work as part of a team.
  • High School diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • DOT Certified with a clean driving record.
  • Medication Administration Certified - current and active.
  • CPR and First Aid Certified - must be maintained at all times.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel for scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a person-centered mindset.
  • Comfortable using documentation software such as Therap (or willing to learn).


Physical Requirements



  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs and remain active throughout the day.
  • Must be able to assist clients with mobility or physical support needs.
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors, in all seasons, and in varied environments.


Experience



  • 0-2 years in DD services or related social service or health care field.
  • Ability to pass DMV check annually and maintain current Montana Driver's License.
