The Opportunity with McKinstry

We are adding a DER Service Coordinator to our growing Distributed Energy Resources (DER) team. This role will manage the coordination, communication, and prioritization of resources across all annuities and work orders (including field service providers). Additionally, some responsibilities you will have include:

Administration & Onboarding

* Support the Asset Management onboarding process and document all asset information in Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

* Support Account Manager with client onboarding presentations as necessary.

* Complete all Work Order (WO) administrative setup as necessary.

* Complete client billings.

* Reviews current service processes and then refines the methods to make them more efficient and effective for clients and McKinstry.

* Assures the efficient and complete closeout of all Annuities and Work Orders managed.

Service Dispatch & Coordination

* Schedule and coordinate preventative maintenance activities for annuities.

* Review annuity contract deliverables prior to client delivery. Ensure deliverables are complete, accurate and on-time.

* Collaborate with Performance Analyst to support Issue Management and dispatch subcontractors for troubleshooting and repairs as necessary, ensuring timely completion.

* Manage setup, financials, and billings for all Work Orders (WOs).

* Support Performance Analyst with warranty claims and collaborate with vendors to process RMAs.

* Communicate with customers regarding service needs, scheduling, and deliverables.

* Communicate with management regarding any callbacks, field service provider problems, unsatisfied clients, etc.

* Work closely with field service providers to address system issues.

* Maintain service records and solicit client feedback.

* Other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry

  • Basic knowledge of solar, battery energy storage systems and EV chargers.

  • Three (3) years of administrative experience working with customers required.

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience required.

  • Intermediate knowledge of Salesforce Field Service, Microsoft Office Suite, and

  • Visio required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.

  • Knowledge of how to properly review proposals, bids, and contracts preferred.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills required.

  • Experience in the construction industry, particularly electrical systems.

The pay range for this position is $24.36 - $39.28 per hour; however, base pay offered my vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This is a non-exempt role and will be paid hourly. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
