Position Title: Human Capital / Benefits Advisor

Location: Remote


Position Overview:

Join ISPA Technology and play a pivotal role in shaping the total rewards experience for our team. You'll partner with leadership to design and deliver comprehensive benefits strategies that attract, support, and retain top talent all while reinforcing our mission-driven defense contracting environment.


Key Responsibilities

Benefits Strategy & Administration


  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, wellness, and retirement plans.
  • Evaluate and enhance offerings to remain competitive in the industry.


Compliance & Vendor Management


  • Ensure strict adherence to federal regulations and industry best practices.
  • Coordinate with benefits vendors and manage contracts to optimize service and cost efficiency.


Employee Guidance


  • Serve as a trusted advisor for employees across all levels.
  • Provide clear guidance on benefit offerings, enrollment, and issue resolution.


Cross-Functional Collaboration


  • Partner with HR, finance, operations, and leadership to align benefits strategy with organizational goals.
  • Act as the benefits subject-matter expert in cross-departmental initiatives.


Continuous Improvement


  • Monitor industry and regulatory changes to enhance offerings and ensure compliance.
  • Analyze utilization data and cost metrics to make data-driven recommendations for improvements.


Communications & Education


  • Create and deliver clear, engaging communication materials such as open enrollment guides, FAQs, and presentations.
  • Educate employees to maximize understanding and value of benefits programs.



Qualifications


  • 3+ years of experience in benefits administration or HR business partnering.
  • Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), PHR/SPHR, or SHRM-CP/SCP
  • Bachelor's in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs and HR systems/tools.
  • Proven ability to manage vendors and ensure compliance with federal regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience in DoD or government contracting, particularly within security-cleared environments, strongly preferred.
  • Track record of success in dynamic, mission-oriented workplaces.
