Description
Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day-to-day work routine for self and others. Provides overall leadership and management for all functions of capital projects. Provides supervision for the Project Management staff in the budgeting, planning, design, bidding, documentation, record keeping, and overall project ownership of capital projects. Responsible for ensuring the Company's capital projects are executed according to the capital budget and schedule and are compliant with Federal and State pipeline safety regulations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS



  • Requires a working knowledge of project management practices and concepts normally acquired through a four-year degree in Construction Management, engineering, or similar applicable industry experience; and
  • Seven years of progressively responsible experience in the energy industry including utility and/or gas operations, maintenance, design, project management, and construction.



OTHER REQUIREMENTS



  • Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered.
  • Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
  • Required to maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Requires moderate travel (up to 25%)



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Equivalent Certification or
  • Prior project management experience



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Leads the Project Management department; reviews, formally and informally, staff performance; and works directly with Project Management personnel on day-to-day tasks. Provides leadership, guidance, and technical support to staff.
  • Responsible for development of project management processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Manages progress of capital projects including overseeing and monitoring budgeting, permitting, design, plan set preparation, bidding, coordination during construction and project documentation.
  • Regularly meets with Project Management staff to review project status and progress; monitors results against schedule and budget and provides ongoing reports to executive management.
  • Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.



Offers typically made between $131,810 - $164,760
