Moffatt & Nichol specializes in large complex waterfront infrastructure projects and is recognized as one of the worldwide leaders in this field. Our Anchorage office is actively seeking a junior-level, graduate Civil Engineer from an ABET accredited institution. Two years of waterfront/marine structural design experience is preferred, but recent graduates who can demonstrate an academic emphasis on structural engineering will be considered. The successful candidate will participate in the planning and design for waterfront structures projects, including large and small marinas, ports, terminals, vessel mooring and berthing structures, bulkheads, breakwater and shore protection structures. The ideal candidate will have, or be interested in gaining structural analysis and design experience; including structural modeling utilizing commercially available platforms. This is an entirely Work From Home position, but given the nature of project work, the successful candidate will need to be local to the Anchorage or Pacific Northwest markets and willing to travel to sites as needed.
