Business Operations Coordinator

Creighton University in Omaha, NE is seeking to hire a Coordinator for Business Operations in Student Life.

This position plays a key role in managing various operational aspects of Student Life, with a focus on meal plan management, coordination between dining services and campus entities, and ensuring smooth execution of programs and events. Act as a liaison between internal groups, oversee food truck programming, manage the Coca-Cola bottling contract and donated product program, and support administrative and financial tasks related to these areas. Will also assist with coordination of IT hardware needs when needed, contributing to the success of Student Life.

Key Responsibilities

• Meal Plan Management: Administer daily operations of campus meal plans, including enrollment, adjustments and usage tracking. Serve as the primary contact for meal plan questions, changes and troubleshooting. Coordinate with Dining (Sodexo) to maintain effective meal plan options and address student concerns.
• Dining Coordination & Campus Liaison: Assist in planning and coordinating events that involve food services and dining elements such as orientation programs and special campus events. Serve as a liaison between the Sodexo and Creighton community, communicating student needs and feedback.
• Administrative Operations: Maintain accurate records of meal plan usage and donated product inventory and monitor and track budget allocations related to dining and vendor partnerships. Assist and coordinate with IT for hardware and support including ordering hardware, updating technical inventory and support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar administrative, operations, or student-focused role.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with vendor coordination, budgeting and financial processing is helpful.
• Basic administrative skills and familiarity with office systems and databases.
