Job Summary Overview:
This position is responsible for leading Enterprise Pharmacy's product efforts, including developing overall pharmacy product strategy, leading products through all stages of the product lifecycle, and managing the product portfolio to ensure it is delivering value for HCSC's stakeholders. This role leads a team that identifies and prioritizes new product concepts, develops and evaluates business cases, project manages through design and delivery, supports go-to-market efforts, tracks and reports on overall product performance, and optimizes products that are in-market. Responsible for collaborating with key stakeholders throughout the company to help advance products from ideation through to execution. Ideal candidate is comfortable leading teams with diverse skillsets, managing multiple projects at different stages, synthesizing ideas for presentation to executive audiences, and analyzing data in a way that produces insight and drives to action.

Job Responsibilities:
*Own development of the Enterprise Pharmacy product strategy and roadmap - bringing a P&L mindset to ensure that the pharmacy product portfolio is delivering value for HCSC, our members, and other stakeholders
*Lead a team that manages products through all stages of the product lifecycle, from ideation through to execution:
oIdentifying and prioritizing potential new products
oDeveloping and submitting business cases
oManaging products through design and delivery, with a focus on stakeholder experience
oSupporting go-to-market efforts via training and collateral creation
oTracking and reporting on product performance
oEnhancing and optimizing products in market
*Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in support of product development and execution - including Sales & Account Mgmt., Enterprise PMO, IT delivery, Actuarial/Underwriting, Legal, etc. Serve as the champion for pharmacy products across the organization, creating messaging and building relationships to ensure successful product development and deployment.
*Provide leadership to ensure the goals and strategic intent of Enterprise Pharmacy are addressed during implementation and delivered to the market
*Manage external business relationships, including relationships with vendors
*Set strategic direction for the digital experience for pharmacy products - identifying enhancements that improve member experience and lower costs
*Provide strategic leadership and direction to a high performing team. Develop talent across the organization, ensuring a diverse talent pipeline.

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree and 12 years experience in health care, health insurance, or strategic consulting environment OR 14 years experience in health care, health insurance, or strategic consulting.
  • 5 years of management experience, including hiring and training staff and managing a departmental budget.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Product Strategy, Management, and Delivery -- including experience with full product lifecycle and launching new products.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • MBA or other advanced degree
  • Experience within the pharmacy value chain

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plansubject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Base Pay Range$143,800.00 - $267,100.00
