What you will do

As a Business Facing Recruiter at Johnson Controls, you will play a crucial role in managing the recruitment life cycle for hiring needs in the North America region. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders by acting as a collaborative partner and ensuring effective communication throughout the hiring process.

What you will do

  • Serve as a strategic partner to hiring managers, guiding them through the interview, selection, and offer stages of the recruitment process

  • Facilitate structured interview processes, ensuring alignment with role requirements and consistency in candidate evaluation

  • Utilize Power BI to monitor and report on recruitment metrics to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement

  • Manage candidate communications from interview scheduling through offer acceptance, ensuring a high-touch and professional experience

  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve recruitment strategies

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (Workday)

  • Leverage a variety of AI tools to streamline recruitment tasks such as writing job descriptions, scheduling interviews, and analyzing candidate data to improve efficiency and consistency

  • Act as a brand ambassador, promoting the company's values and culture during candidate interactions

What we look for

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting, with a strong emphasis on interview facilitation, stakeholder management, and offer negotiation

  • Experience recruiting for high-volume manufacturing roles preferred, but not required

  • Demonstrated success utilizing data and partnering with business leaders to drive hiring outcomes and improve recruitment processes

  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS); experience with Workday or similar platforms preferred

  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
