Description

This position is responsible for accurately receiving purchasing orders into our ERP system and placing them in the proper finished goods area. Packing product to our specifications, loading and unloading trucks. Complete shipping documentation, including BOL, CI and packing lists. Scheduling shipping pickup, printing shipping manifesting, printing labels and putting them on the proper boxes for those orders via our ERP system and the carrier's website.

Key Areas of Responsibility:



  • Operate D365 ERP and have advanced computer skills.
  • Verify shipping paperwork - pack lists, freight bill, shipping labels, etc.
  • Tag received parts and identified as ready for line or storage
  • Receive in parts in ERP system
  • Identify non-conforming parts or packages and disposition in accordance with ISO 13485 standards
  • Drive and operate forklifts
  • Load/Unload trucks
  • Verify correct paperwork before moving parts
  • Verify correct paperwork on stored materials
  • Maintain dock area in a neat and orderly manner/keep warehouse organized
  • Transfer parts and orders interdepartmentally and insuring proper documentation
  • Could potentially meet hazardous chemicals.
  • Any other tasks as required fulfilling CIRS, Inc. shipping department needs
  • Be able to lift to 70lbs.
  • Performing filing duties



Education and Experience



  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Shipping/warehouse computer software experience.
  • Prior shipping manifesting experience is a plus.



Skills and Competencies



  • Must be able to clearly understand material tracking documents and communicate verbally with line personnel on a daily basis.
  • Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Computer data entry skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient use of a 10-key calculator.
