W2 ONLY - NO C2C Hybrid in Charlotte, NC Description Our clients team is engaged in several cutting-edge data initiatives, including: * Parsing and processing large volumes of unstructured data from sources such as partner emails and financial documents. * Moving beyond traditional OCR to use AI-based data extraction, especially for complex documents like loan payoff forms. * Active development of an internal AI use case, navigating governance issues tied to protected data via Model Armor-a system that flags sensitive information like commercial account numbers. The application is in full development mode, not in a maintenance phase. The work involves implementing new features in every sprint, requiring high hands-on involvement. Our client is seeking a mid-level Java backend developer (5-7 years of experience) who can immediately contribute to hands-on development with minimal oversight. This hire will backfill an existing team member and support current development efforts. Skills Java, Spring, Springboot, Microservices, non relational databases, react.js Top Skills Details Java, Spring, Springboot, Microservices ,non relational databases,react.js Additional Skills & Qualifications o Be involved in low to moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments o Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments o Review low to moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures o Resolve low to moderately complex issues to meet existing client needs or potential new clients' needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements o Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals Required Qualifications: o 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education o 5+ years of software engineering experience in developing integrated and secure enterprise or web-based applications using Java/J2EE o 1+ years of experience with business process workflow software o 2+ years of experience with Spring Framework o 2+ years of experience in developing enterprise web applications using React JS with Redux o 2+ years of JavaScript development experience o 2+ years of HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) experience o 2+ years of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) experience o 1+ years of experience in Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, 2.1 or a combination of both o Experience in Micro Frontend and Microservices o Experience working with REST Services o Experience with API development and knowledge of common design patterns o Experience with unit testing of Java backend code Desired Qualifications: o Hands on experience doing analysis, coding, and debugging Java frameworks like Spring, Hibernate etc. o Knowledge of or experience with Kafka o Experience managing applications in a cloud environment (Azure, Google, Amazon Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
