Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Wealth Specialty Assets Manager. This position is primarily responsible for the administration of non-publicly traded assets held in all Trustdesk platform accounts and a portfolio of fiduciary and select agency accounts as assigned. This position will be responsible for supervising the compliance with procedures and policies for all Specialty assets titled or registered to accounts where ONB has fiduciary or reporting responsibility. At times this position will represent Old National Bank as a fiduciary services expert working in tandem with Wealth Advisors, as an integral part of the client relationship management team. They are also responsible for working with partners from wealth, banking, and external centers of influence. This role will demonstrate a high level of technical knowledge about the valuation, management, and registration of Unique assets. In addition, the position will require an understanding and awareness of all aspects of wealth management services and applying that knowledge as an integral fiduciary resource for other Trust Officers.

Key Accountabilities

    Serve as the manager of Specialty Assets for the Wealth Division Trustdesk platform accounts.
  • Supervise designated officers and support staff as needed to effectively manage specialty assets.
  • Develop procedures and reports as needed for risk and compliance controls involving Specialty Assets.
  • Provide detailed status reporting of all Specialty Assets to TAC.
  • Achieve negotiated performance standards which may include audit / exam results, compliance testing, client satisfaction, and other metrics as assigned.
  • Serve as the Administrative Officer for a portfolio of existing personal trust and select agency accounts working with appropriate support teams and internal partners to ensure the execution of account administration is properly maintained.
  • Maintain compliance with fiduciary procedures and required documentation.
  • Has the ability to resolve account issues and engage in complex fiduciary administration.
  • Ensures that administrative reviews are accurate and complete per fiduciary group policies and procedures.
  • Develop a network of Centers of Influence who can provide additional client referrals.
  • Arrange client meetings to make introductions of internal partners for the purpose of discussing their needs and the benefits of our services and expand client relationships.
  • Serve on, or head working groups and/or councils as appointed.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree (e.g., JD or MBA) or professional licenses (e.g., CTFA, CFP, CPA) preferred.
  • Years of Experience: Minimum 10 years of trust administration or related experience.
  • Must possess strong relationship building skills including verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have experience working with compliance, auditors, and regulators regarding Unique Asset Administration
  • Working knowledge of investment markets, products and services and the ability to discuss financial, legal, and tax strategies to meet client needs and goals.
  • Operate effectively in an environment that stresses both individual accountability and team-based performance.
  • Desire a team environment, collaborating with experienced professionals from multiple disciplines to deliver high quality client service.
  • Provide professional presence within professional and community organizations.
  • Thorough working knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as familiarity with CRM tools and trust accounting systems.
  • Position may require physical presence for court appearances, office meetings, and client engagements.
  • Advanced knowledge of fiduciary, investment management, and estate planning strategies.
  • Advanced presentation and relationship skills.
