Essential Job Duties |
This is a fixed term (temporary) lab technician position. The key required duty is
INDEPENDENTLY conducting research and non-research activities assigned by the principal investigator (PI). These activities may include but are not limited to performing experiments, organizing and analyzing research data, writing research manuscripts for journal publication, documenting SoPs for research methods and instrument operations, cleaning/organizing the lab, training/maintaining instruments, etc.
Additionally, the hire is expected to assist administrative work associated with the lab operations. These activities include but are not limited to preparing paperwork, coordinating and managing meetings, and welcoming visitors.
Examples of expectations are:
- Organizing research data and preparing manuscripts related to dairy foods for journal publication
- The manuscripts are expected to be submitted before 9/30/2025
- On-site in-person efforts are required

- Relevant Master's degree or Relevant Bachelor's and 3 or more years of relevant experience, or relevant independent experience and education
