Temporary Research Assistant

This is a fixed term (temporary) lab technician position. The key required duty is INDEPENDENTLY conducting research and non-research activities assigned by the principal investigator (PI). These activities may include but are not limited to performing experiments, organizing and analyzing research data, writing research manuscripts for journal publication, documenting SoPs for research methods and instrument operations, cleaning/organizing the lab, training/maintaining instruments, etc.

Additionally, the hire is expected to assist administrative work associated with the lab operations. These activities include but are not limited to preparing paperwork, coordinating and managing meetings, and welcoming visitors.
