We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Patient Access Coordinator to join our administrative team. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in healthcare and insurance verification who thrives in a fast-paced office environment. You'll play a key role in supporting clinical operations by ensuring accurate insurance processing, scheduling, and patient communication. On-site \| Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Key Responsibilities * Verify insurance eligibility and benefits accurately for all patient accounts * Enter and update patient demographics and insurance information * Review upcoming appointments and ensure all pre-certifications and authorizations are obtained * Collect surgical deposits and verify insurance coverage as needed * Handle overflow calls and provide front desk support when necessary * Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations * Collaborate with office staff and management to ensure smooth daily operations * Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Office Manager Required Qualifications * High School Diploma or equivalent * Minimum 2 years of experience in a physician's office performing insurance verification * Strong understanding of insurance payers, benefits, and authorization processes * Familiarity with EHR software and Windows applications * Basic knowledge of medical terminology and simple math skills Why Join Us? * Supportive, team-oriented work environment * Business-casual office setting with cubicle workspace * Opportunity to make a direct impact on patient experience and clinical efficiency * Competitive hourly pay and potential for long-term growth Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
