Overview
The Department of Developmental, Molecular and Chemical Biology conducts research of basic biochemical and molecular mechanisms involved in cell functions in both the normal and diseased states, as well as teaching students at the Medical, Dental Schools, and the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. What You'll Do Under close supervision of Principal Investigator, conducts a variety of routine experiments following established procedures and protocols, which may include performing assays, tissue culture, electrophoresis, and other laboratory techniques. May also record test results, analyze data using basic statistics, maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, and monitor animal colonies.
What We're Looking For Basic Requirements: Knowledge and skills as typically acquired through Bachelor's degree in science with up to one year laboratory experience Preferred Qualifications: * Familiarity with basic laboratory techniques and procedures, including tissue culture, working with mice and molecular biological techniques Pay Range Minimum $20.50, Midpoint $24.40, Maximum $28.30 Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range. |
