Overview

Our ISD intern program offers college students an opportunity to gain first-hand experience in the financial sector, while assisting us in providing the high-quality support our members deserve. To be eligible for this position, the candidate must be enrolled in an accredited university and willing to learn and combine theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience while developing their professional skills.

*Please clearly indicate your degree program and expected graduation timeline on your resume. Please note we are only looking at students enrolled in IT-related degree programs!

Responsibilities

  • Performs work supporting the assigned IT group - duties may vary depending on assignment.
  • Applies knowledge gained from the degree program in day-to-day duties/responsibilities
  • May receive guidance and direction from management and/or senior-level staff
  • Leverage technical knowledge and skill.
  • Works within established standards, change control, policies, and procedures
  • Provides exceptional customer service
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Ability to present findings and conclusions clearly and concisely
  • Ability to exercise initiative, produce desired results, and achieve objectives
  • Effective attention to detail
  • Effective research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Practical verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including skills in negotiating and persuading others
  • Experience that demonstrates a high degree of maturity, objectivity, tact, integrity, and sound judgment
  • Ability to apply sound judgment in analyzing and organizing problems
  • Effective planning, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as a member of a team with a cooperative, positive attitude
  • Experience with PCs and related software such as Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc.)
  • Experience using Microsoft Teams for communication, meetings, and project coordination is essential.
  • The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing shared documents and workflows within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and support users in Microsoft Teams and related Microsoft 365 tools

Desired:

  • Must be entering Sophomore or Junior year
  • Experience with troubleshooting and/or telephony
  • Knowledge of Security Frameworks to assist with Vulnerability remediation
  • Introductory level knowledge of cloud technology
