Senior Financial Analyst
Location: Lenexa, KS, 66215
Position Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst is an individual contributor role and will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial analysis, reporting, loan tape preparation, pricing support, and funding partner deliverables. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance or lending, with the ability to bridge strategic financial work and capital markets execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports for leadership, banks, and funding partners.
- Reconcile and validate financial data between accounting systems (e.g., Sage Intacct) and internal financial models.
- Conduct profitability, margin, and yield analyses by asset class, deal type, and funding source.
- Develop schedules and supporting data for management dashboards and KPI tracking.
- Capital Markets & Loan Tape Support:
- Prepare, validate, and format loan and lease tapes for warehouse lines, syndication partners, and direct sale transactions.
- Track partner-specific eligibility requirements and ensure all deal data meets funding criteria.
- Coordinate the assembly of funding packages, working with Credit, Legal, and Accounting to ensure completeness and compliance.
- Monitor covenant compliance, borrowing base activity, and funding timelines.
- Pricing & Profitability Modeling:
- Maintain and refine pricing tools and models used for transaction structuring.
- Analyze the impact of funding source economics on pricing and profitability.
- Reconcile model assumptions with historical actuals to improve accuracy.
- Audit & Compliance Support:
- Prepare and organize audit support workpapers for internal and external reviews.
- Respond to lender and investor data requests with accurate, timely information.
- Maintain organized documentation for financial and capital markets processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with Portfolio Management and Asset Management to monitor deal performance post-funding.
- Coordinate with IT/Data teams to improve accuracy and efficiency of reporting processes.
Salary/Compensation: $110,000 - $120,000 per year
