Essential Job Duties
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable professional to support departmental financial operations and travel processes. The Temporary Bookkeeper role involves managing travel authorizations and reimbursements, reconciling purchasing card (PCard) transactions, and processing various financial entries. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and capable of working independently while ensuring accuracy and compliance with university guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate, review, and approve departmental travel authorizations and reimbursements.
  • Reconcile monthly PCard transactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Process journal vouchers, interdepartmental transactions, and small vouchers.
  • Complete Online Monthly Account Reconciliation (OMAR) to ensure financial accuracy.

  • Prior experience performing similar financial and administrative tasks.
