NC State has goals to reduce campus energy use intensity by 40% from its fiscal year 2003 baseline and campus water consumption by 65% from its fiscal year 2002 baseline. Energy Management (EM), a sub-division of NC State Facilities, contributes significantly to meeting these goals by tracking, managing, and reducing energy and water waste on campus. Essential Duties:

The Energy Management Project Intern will assist with a variety of tasks, including.

  • Energy Projects Development: The intern will develop strategies to identify projects with energy upgrade opportunities, identify the financial resources required, and calculate the projected return on investment.
