Software Engineer II

Job Summary

Under limited supervision, designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs moderately complex software programs for enhancements and new products. Responsible for moderately complex concept design through the full development life cycle. Prepares and conducts systems programming test requiring interfacing and software tests.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Experience in UI and API development to expose the data insights generated from AI/ML data models and pipelines.
• Experience in developing the microservices for APIs using Springboot, Python, and Integrate UI with JSON APIs and other distributed systems.
• Experience with modern JavaScript UI ecosystem, including React.
• Experience with responsive layouts, CSS grid frameworks and CSS preprocessors.
• Experience with streaming frameworks like Kafka
• Experience in enabling the product for operational visibility through proper instrumentation like Azure App Insights etc.
• Experience/knowledge in containerization (Kubernetes) and infrastructure as a code (terraform).
• An 'engineering' mindset, willing to make rapid, pragmatic decision to improve performance, accelerate progress or magnify impact.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems or related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experience

Minimum Experience

Two (2) years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.

* Api development using spring boot / python Fast APIs

* JavaScript UI ecosystem, including Angular and React

* Streaming frameworks like Kafka or similar

Pay: National Market Info: $6,860 - $10,290 Monthly
