Your Job

As an Environmental Data and Reporting Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting Georgia-Pacific's consumer product sites in the Pacific Northwest-Camas, Washington; Halsey, Oregon; and Clatskanie, Oregon-by managing, analyzing, and reporting environmental data across multiple locations. This remote position focuses on increasing visibility to data to various stakeholders and providing data-driven insights to proactively improve environmental compliance, reduce unplanned process events (UPEs), and enhance overall environmental program effectiveness. You will collaborate closely with Environmental Managers and regional teams to execute robust processes that deliver consistent and accurate internal and regulatory reports. The Environmental Data Analyst reports to the Sr. Regional Environmental Manager. Long-term value is created through the application of our Principle Based Management business philosophy.

For this role, we anticipate paying a base salary of $90,000 - $130,000 per year. This role is also bonus eligible.

Our Team

You will be part of a dynamic, cross-site environmental team committed to operational excellence and environmental stewardship. Working remotely, you will support three mills and help bridge communication between site and regional environmental leaders by delivering timely, data-rich reports and analysis. This role complements the site and regional Environmental Manager positions by focusing on data oversight and reporting, enabling the team to better allocate resources and improve environmental compliance across multiple facilities. What You Will Do

  • Analyze incoming environmental data from the Camas, Halsey, and Clatskanie mills to identify trends, anomalies, and potential compliance risks
  • Systematically prepare accurate and complete regulatory reports across various environmental media (air, water, waste, etc.)
  • Generate clear, accurate, and actionable environmental insights for site and regional leadership
  • Assist mill operating teams with trend data evaluation to support root cause analysis and issue resolution
  • Maintain and continuously improve data handling and quality assurance / quality control processes to ensure efficiency and consistency across sites
  • Collaborate with Environmental Managers and regional teams to support UPE reduction initiatives and other environmental program objectives
  • Help develop and implement tools and systems for environmental data management and reporting
  • Provide cross-media and cross-site data insights that enhance regional environmental oversight and compliance programs
  • Develop and lead strategic efforts to advance the region's data management strategies and reporting automation by leveraging technology (e.g. tools, artificial intelligence, etc.)

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Biological Science, or Engineering
  • Experience with environmental data reporting
  • Experience with data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, SEEQ, or Tableau)
  • Experience with environmental compliance requirements and terminology

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience supporting regulatory multimedia environmental compliance requirements in manufacturing operations
  • Pulp and paper industry experience
  • Experience with Washington and Oregon environmental compliance regulations
  • Multimedia environmental data reporting experience
  • CEMS/DAS, PARC View, or PI experience
