Essential Job Duties	Duties Include: Conduct a detailed literature review of the food processing sector, focusing on one or two specific sectors like baking industry, extruded foods etc. Identify the different processes involved in day-to-day operations in running such a factory Identify specific areas within the system that can benefit from the use of LLMs Test the LLM outputs for accuracy Write a manuscript on how to deploy LLMs to enable efficiencies in food processing

Requirements and Preferences

Work Schedule	20/hrs per week, Monday-Friday

Minimum Experience/Education	4 year degree; or an equivalent combination of training and/or related experience
Department Required Skills	Experience of using algorithms to enable complex functionalities - to process and understand vast amounts of text data, optimizing responses during deployment etc. Familiarity with agriculture, food tech, or life sciences through coursework or lab experience in areas such as food safety, microbiology, or other related fields Ability to conduct literature reviews, critically evaluate papers, and write scientific manuscripts
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education	Master's degree in Computer Science with foundational knowledge of software engineering and database management Prior working experience in interdisciplinary research using the domains of computer science, agriculture, and life sciences-related fields. Have some research or other (extension) publications Exposure to the use of APIs in different applications
