OKC, OK 73120 Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00pm-5:00pm Physician: Dotani Responsibilities We're seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (with Acute Care certification preferred)or Physician Assistant to join our heart-centered team. In this role, you'll provide primary health care and perform a range of medical services, working closely with our skilled physicians and caregivers. What You'll Do: Patient Care: Conduct thorough medical evaluations, take detailed histories, and interpret findings to provide top-notch care as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Documentation & Communication: Maintain meticulous records and reports, while fostering strong relationships with patients, families, and medical staff. Clinical Responsibilities: Manage your own patient clinic for follow-up appointments, handle hospital rounding, and assist with new consults and discharge summaries. Support: Be a key point of contact for physician pager calls when physicians are engaged in procedures. Qualifications Nurse Practitioner- National certification from a national certifying body acceptable by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing in the following specialties: Family Nurse Pracitioner (FNP), Adult Gerontology Acute Care (AG-AC NP) or Acute Care. Current BLS certification required. Physician's Assistant - Baccalaureate degree or a minimum of two years of college credit or graduate from ARC-PA (Accreditation Review Commission on education for the Physician Assistant) approved program. Current license as a Physician Assistant with the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure. Licensure/Certification: Current BLS certification required. Experience: Cardiology experience preferred.
