WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Create, review and release manufacturing and/or purchase orders in a timely manner; expedite, cancel, defer as needed.

  • Plan and publish an executable, frozen Five-day Production Schedule that meets customer demand, stocking levels, and appropriate raw material consumption leaving no scrap.

  • Use Production Optimizer tool to manage multi-SKU combinations and Capacity constraints.

  • Participate in and provide data for Aberdeen SIOP process.

  • Coordinate and Purchase Raw Materials and components to support schedule.

  • Support and work with appropriate personnel when problems arise in regard to equipment, materials, inventory, documentation, invoice discrepancies, raw materials replenishment, delivery or quality performance. Raise awareness and keep operations and management informed of critical situations.

  • Work together to quickly resolve any issues that could impact the schedule. Share lead times clearly and respond to questions about customer orders and quotes in a timely, respectful, and professional way.

  • Develop and maintain an understanding of assigned parts & processes.

  • Take an active role in lean initiatives, team activities, and continuous improvement projects. Support the team by rotating through assignments and stepping in to help with other tasks as needed.

YOU HAVE:
  • BS / BA Degree or Associate's in business or related field; or equivalent experience in a similar role.

  • Minimum of 2 plus years' experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.

  • Proficient use with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint.

  • Knowledge of MRP and material flow processes.

  • Analytical thinking and problem solving.

  • Ability to adapt rapidly to changes and function in a fast-paced environment.
