Description
Summary The Drafter will create detailed technical drawings and plans for playground equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and design specifications. Responsibilities include collaborating with Design Technician's and Product Designers to develop precise CAD drawings and Installation Sheets, reviewing designs for accuracy, and making necessary revisions. The ideal candidate will have experience in Autodesk Inventor software, a strong understanding of engineering principles. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a team environment are essential for success in this role. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Travel Minimal travel required (less than 5%) Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence as well as be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Reasoning Ability Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Computer Skills - Knowledge of AutoDesk Inventor and understanding of how to create 3D models - Knowledge of AutoDesk Vault software helpful - Extensive computer experience with a basic knowledge of 2D and 3D design and drafting visualization - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
